MY FIRST TRUCK

Like the song says “I got my first truck when I turned 16”. 1979 Chev Silverado C10.  Drove this truck for years until I realized that gas for a 355 “Rocket” wasn’t cheap for a teenager; even at 42 cents/litre.  I still remember asking dad if I could use diesel instead as it still had the 5.7 Diesel badges on it…lol.  If only I would have known what this truck could have become today and if it’s even still alive.  I would buy it back in a heartbeat!                                                                   ~ Scott V
